Waddington Carols

Join us on Sunday 20th December at 10.30 am for a chance to get into the Christmas spirit and celebrate the story of that very first Christmas.

You don’t have to wrap up warm and you can bring a brew with you! After a fantastic ‘Carols at the Crossroads’ last year, we want to bring the village together again but, this being 2020, we have had to move online. All you need to do is come back here on the morning of 20th December, and click on the link above. It won’t matter if you don’t have a camera and/or microphone, but you’ll be able to join in a bit more if you do.

We’ll be singing along with all your favourite Christmas Carols, and there’ll be a chance to hear the Christmas story too. You will be able to sing along to your heart’s content without feeling self-conscious, but be joining in with lots of other folks – it may even turn out to be the biggest gathering the village manages to have this year! So dig out your Christmas jumper and join us from 10.20am (carols start at 10.30am) on Sunday 20th.

If you know people who don’t have a computer, they can listen to the carols by dialling

If you have any questions, would like an email-able invitation to send to someone, or even a paper invitation, please contact us on 07747 124485 or freedomchurchwaddington [at] gmail.com.

For those of a more technical mind, we are using Zoom to run the Carols. You can also join the Zoom call via the meeting ID 303-504-7793 and the passcode ‘freedom’ (note this is different to the telephone passcode) You won’t have to sign up to anything, or enter any personal details (although please do give a name so we can say hello!)

Waddington Carols is a joint event between Freedom Church Waddington and St Michael’s Church, Waddington and is completely free to attend. For more information about what St Michael’s have on over the Christmas period, find them on Facebook, or have a look at www.stmichaelschurchwaddington.org.uk!
