Waddington Family Zoom Nativity

We’re having a nativity with a difference this year!

Click here to join in with the Nativity!

Normally we love to all pile into St Michael’s Church for a Crib Service on Christmas Eve, but as that isn’t possible this year, we thought we would bring the Nativity to you, online, on the afternoon before you can travel!

Join us for an interactive retelling of the very first Christmas. There will be lots of opportunities for you to get involved, starting with an invitation to dress up as one of the Nativity characters! This could be a complete costume including face paints(!), a tea towel and dressing gown cord, or even ‘just’ a Christmas jumper – we really don’t mind (and we’re not just inviting the children to dress up, either!) There’ll be a chance to sing some familiar Christmas carols at the top of your voice if you like without anyone else hearing you, and a chance to draw a line under the busy-ness of December, and look forward to Christmas.

Oh, and if you have any Christmassy bells, bring them along too…

If you have any questions, would like an email-able invitation to send to someone, or even a paper invitation, please contact us on 07747 124485 or freedomchurchwaddington [at] gmail.com.

For those of a more technical mind, we are using Zoom to run the Nativity. You can also join the Zoom calls via the meeting ID 303-504-7793 and the passcode ‘freedom’. You won’t have to sign up for anything, or enter any personal details (although please do give a name so we can say hello!)

The Nativity is a joint event between Freedom Church Waddington and St Michael’s Church, Waddington and is completely free to attend. For more information about what St Michael’s have on over the Christmas period, have a look at www.stmichaelschurchwaddington.org.uk or find them on Facebook!
