Little Stars Tots’ Group

We love young families!  And we know how hard it can be to get out of the house and find fun, stress-free things to do when you’ve got a tiny person.  So, way back in 2014, we were thrilled when Revd Annabel Barber, then Rector at St Michael’s Church, Waddington, approached Jenne with the idea of starting a tots’ group in the village!

Inevitably, Little Angels had to pause during Covid, but in September 2023 we got up and running again, as Little Stars!

Little Angels/Stars has been running for over 10 years now, and in that time we’ve seen literally hundreds of small people, along with their grown-ups.  Lots of folks come from on camp, but there are also lots of folks from Waddington village, and further afield, who are part of Little Angels.  We have an eclectic mix of mums, dads, grandparents (even great-grandparents!), child minders and ‘friends of the family’, who bring children aged from birth (or even a bit before!) through to starting school.

Each session is a mix of play, singing, story time, drinks and snacks (for adults too!), crafts and more.  We always have a Bible story, but we welcome folks of all faiths and none.  There are always plenty of folk around to play with your little one while you have a chance for a brew and a grown-up conversation.  And while we like to pretend that the craft is for the tinies, it’s amazing how often it’s the grown ups who sit down to make something to take home!

We run every Thursday morning in school term time, from 10.00 until 11.30. There’s no charge – if you want to find out more why not give us a shout, or look at our Facebook page?  We also have a closed Facebook group, which you’re welcome to join if you’d like to get involved at Little Stars!
