On the 4th Sunday of each month, from October 2023 – July 2024, we will exploring the theme of ‘Meals with Jesus’ in Luke’s Gospel. We’ll be learning about the many encounters that Jesus had with all kinds of people, from different stages and backgrounds, and how he loved to take time to sit down and share food with them, to truly know them and provide opportunity to be known himself. We’ll also see how many of the ‘religious’ folk of the time were so shocked by who it was that Jesus actually chose to hang out with.
These, hour-long, All-In Services are followed by time and space over a simple meal together, often soup and bread, to give space to grow friendships, discuss and ask questions about what we have looked at together at the service, and generally enjoy being a growing community together.
